Barbara Ann Guilford Hurtt

Barbara Ann Guilford Hurtt, age 65, of Grants Pass, died Monday, December 29, 2008 at her home.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2009 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society, 31 W 6th Street, Medford, Oregon 97501.

She was born January 24, 1943 in Shamrock, Texas to C.L. & Mable Roberts. In 1981 she moved from Portland to Grants Pass. She formerly worked at Oak Lane Retirement Home.

She enjoyed helping others and volunteered with local nursing homes by taking
her service dogs to see the nursing home residents.

Survivors include four children, Robert L. Guilford of Honolulu, Hawaii, Tammy R. McIntosh of Selma, Debbie L. Latta of Grants Pass, and Michael R. Guilford of San Jose, California; four step-children, Michael Hurtt and Debbie Steddam both of Grants Pass, Hidi Wickum of Eugene and Reecie Cain; six grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and one step-greatgrandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy Roberts.
