Arthur Desaulniers

Arthur Desaulniers, age 72, of Cave Junction, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center.

Private family services will be held. Illinois Valley Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Art was born December 7, 1940 in Southbridge, Massachusetts to Yvonne & Robert Desaulniers. The family moved to the Illinois Valley in 1943. Art enjoyed a life working in the forests in the timber industry and swimming and diving in the area streams. In retirement Art tended a large garden every year at the family farm near Cave Junction.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Desaulniers of Cave Junction, Oregon; a brother, Eugene Desaulniers of Woodburn, Oregon; a sister, Frances Desaulniers of California; a son, Larry Desaulniers and a grandson, Robert Desaulniers both of Corvallis, Oregon.
