Arren I. Vargas, age 44, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center.
Arren was born February 2, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated with an Associate degree from Feather River College in Quincy, Nevada where he studied forestry, fish, and gaming, and geology. He moved from San Jose, California to Grants Pass. On August 10, 2013 under a full moon at 10:30 pm in the backyard of their home at Doneen Lane in Grants Pass, Arren married his wife, Mitzy. He was employed at Herb’s La Casita as security for Chris’s Shenanigan’s and The Vault.
His hobbies included rock hunting, exploring the wilderness, rafting, and camping. He enjoyed weekly get-togethers with friends playing dungeons and dragons and his favorite thing to do was spend time with his wife.
Survivors include his wife, Mitzy Rae Vargas of Grants Pass, Oregon; two stepsons, Jacob Bruce Ingledue of Rexburg, Idaho and Christopher James Ingledue of Grants Pass, Oregon; and his parents, Dana & Craig Vargas of San Jose, California.
A funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.
A celebration of life – Viking Ascension will be at 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016 at 1130 Doneen Lane, Grants Pass.
