Annie Deters

Annie Deters, age 92, of Cave Junction, passed peacefully August 5, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Annie was born May 17, 1929 in Collinsville, California. On July 3, 1949 in Reno, Nevada she married Leonard W. Deters. (Annie and two sisters were all married at the same time in Reno). In 1994 she moved from Fairfield, California to Cave Junction.

Annie was a very giving and strong woman. Her family was her highest priority.

She especially loved gardening.

Survivors include four children Warren Deters, Deborah Hull, Patricia Wright and Bruce Deters all of Cave Junction; sisters Mary, Eleanor, Violet, and Nancy; grandchildren Steven Hull, Joseph Wright, Heather Hull, Tracy Melton, Karley Deters, Emily Deters and Jacob Deters; 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Warren Deters; her parents Phillip & Anne Olivieri; sisters Lucy Dodson, Frances Greco, Ida Bell, and Elizabeth Czernieski; and brothers John Olivieri and Louie Olivieri.
