Annette S. Brown

Annette S. Brown, age 54, of Grants Pass, died Monday, October 15, 2012 at her home.

A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 1402 Raydean Drive, Grants Pass, Oregon 97527. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Annette was born August 18, 1958 in San Jose, California to Vernon & Solange Austin. She graduated from Grants Pass High School, class of 1977 and attended Rogue Community College. In 1977 in Grants Pass she married Steve Brown. Together with her husband, she owned and operated Brownie’s Auto Body where she worked as a bookkeeper/secretary. She later moved to Portland where she lived until returning to Grants Pass five years ago. She currently enjoyed working at Little People’s after school program at Allendale Elementary School.

During her children’s younger years, Annette was active in the PTA at Jerome Prairie Elementary School.

Annette especially loved animals; her family and friends; and her pet dog, a lhasa bichon named Leroy Brown. She also enjoyed river rafting, camping, bicycle riding and the outdoors.

She is survived by a son, Aaron Brown; a daughter, Jaclyn Brown; and a sister, Claudette Wilder all of Portland, Oregon and former husband, Steve Brown.
