Anita June Lewman

June 25, 1929 — January 10, 2015

Anita June Mote Booth Lewman, 85, of Grants Pass died Saturday January 10th, 2015 surrounded by family.

When Anita was 4 she moved to Grants Pass, Oregon with her parents. She is survived by two brothers Herbert Mote and George Mote and wife Karen and one sister Eva Mote Bundock. Three children Deb Booth West and husband Craig West, Steve Booth and wife Elaine and Darin Lewman and wife Kat and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Anita graduated from GPHS in 1949. Anita married Richard Allen Booth in August 1950. They had two children Debra Kay Booth West and Steven Thomas Booth. They later divorced. Anita married Alvie Lewman on 9 November 1966 and were married 39 years before Alvie passed. Anita and Alvie had one son Darin Lewman.

Anita’s grandchildren are: Dan and wife Teresa West, Angela and husband Dr. Brandon Mitchell, Steve, Mike and James West, Tiffany and husband Chris Arnell, and Bryan West and Jamie Tenace and Lindsay and husband Sean Haggerty and Charles and wife Chelsea Booth and Jason, Josh, Jen Strausberg.

And great-grandchildren Ethan, Jacob, Autumn, Kaleb and Seth West. Ryan and Evan Mitchell. Evan West. Caleb, Mykaela, Ainslie and Zo Arnell. Jaxon Haggerty, Kendall and Reagan Booth.

She enjoyed gardening, fishing, sewing, macram and travel. Anita enjoyed assisting with the yearly APA Poultry Show at the Josephine County Fair as well as entering a multitude of flowers vegetables and photos at the fair with her husband Alvie.

Private inurnment will take place at the Masonic Cemetery on Foothill Blvd.

Memorial services are planned for 7 February 2015 at 1PM at the Masonic Lodge on 320 NW ‘E’ St in Grants Pass.
