Andrew Sam Mcguire

Andrew Sam McGuire, age 78, of Grants Pass, passed away April 10, 2017 at Sutter Coast Hospital in Crescent City.

Andrew was born November 13, 1938 in Aurora, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Campbell) McGuire of Grants Pass; children, Anne Norris of Crescent City, California, Doug McGuire of Oakland, Oregon, Carla Maples of Smith River, California, Lori Ridenour of Cave Junction, Oregon, Steve McGuire of Grants Pass, Oregon and Chris McGuire of Bonney Lake, Washington; brothers, Jack Jr and Virgil both of Prineville, Oregon and Kenith of Central Point, Oregon; sister, Velma Davis of Texas; 16 grandkids; 45 great-grandkids; one great-great-grandson; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous other family members including a special nephew, Roger McGuire of Rogers, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Everett McGuire Sr; his mother, Edith Harriman McGuire; sister, Helen Hackworth; brothers, Troy, Floyd, Lloyd, Edward, and Lonnie; and great-grandson, David Ridenour-Philpott.

A viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2017 at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Hull & Hull Chapel with Pastor Monty Pope officiating. Interment will follow at Deer Creek Cemetery in Selma.
