Alma G. “Allie” Pierce, age 88, of Rogue River, died Friday, March 15, 2013 at Three Rivers Medical Center.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rogue River with Elder John Witcombe officiating. Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Allie was born March 31, 1924 in Keeseville, New York. On November 6, 1949 in Keeseville she married Lee F. Pierce who preceded her in death on December 29, 1999. Together they moved from New York to Oregon in 1957 and to Rogue River in 1983.
Allie was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Rogue River and the American Mountain Men Association.
She enjoyed camping, traveling, Indian family history, walking and church activities. She loved to give hugs.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Pierce of Bend, Oregon and Dale Pierce of Rogue River, Oregon; a stepson, David Darrick of Silver Springs, Maryland; a stepdaughter, Jeanine Loy of Roanoke, Virginia; a sister, Janet Rivers of Cadyville, New York; eight grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Grant in August 2001 and a sister Christina “Chris” Monty.
