Alexander Cameron Vidlak

On Friday, November 14th we all suffered a tragic loss when Alexander Cameron Vidlak lost his life due to injuries sustained as a passenger in a motor vehicle accident. Alex’s celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 21st at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors, 612 NW A Street, Grants Pass OR 97526. Please come join us to share your fondest memories and stories. Viewing will begin at 1pm and Services begin at 3pm.

Alex was born May 16th 1993 in Grants Pass to Vincent and Tracy Vidlak, where he grew up and graduated from North Valley High School in 2011. After graduation, he moved up to Portland where he worked as he was completing his studies at Portland Community College to become a graphic designer. He recently returned home to Grants Pass to continue working on his college degree while being closer to his family and friends that were such an important part of his life.

Besides his close relationships, Alex was an amateur entomologist as he loved all insects, creepy and crawly. Alex was a very talented artist, favoring pencil over anything else. Alex loved spending time with his family and friends, listening to music and taking adventurous walks as frequently as he could.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Vidlak Jr. and grandmother, Susan Reinwand both of Grants Pass.

He leaves behind his mother, Tracy Vidlak; two siblings, Amber and Adam. Also left behind are his aunts: Mickie Miner, Michele O’Brien, Vickie Brown, Laura Saunders, Stephanie Vidlak and Becky Vidlak; his uncles: Russell Miner, Dan Vidlak, Mark Vidlak, Rob Saunders and Rick Brown, all of Southern Oregon; grandparents are Vincent and Sharon Vidlak of Grants Pass and John Hayworth of Yucaipa, CA.; 23 cousins, 3 second cousins and a never ending list of close friends.
