Albert Leopold “Al” Humphrey, age 57, of Grants Pass, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at his home.
Family services will be held. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Al was born March 30, 1956 in Upland, California to Albert & Jeanne (Givens) Humphrey. Al was raised and attended schools including Chaffey High School in Ontario, California. He worked in Ontario until moving to Santa Clara County where he worked for his brother-in-law at his termite control business. In 1989 Al moved from Santa Clara to Grants Pass where he worked as a handyman until his disability overcame him.
Al volunteered at Rogue Valley Humane Society Thrift Store on Redwood Avenue.
He loved taking care of his precious kitties, T-2 and Bear-Bear and helping anyone that asked when in need.
Survivors include three sons, Jason Humphrey and Andrew Humphrey both of Nacogdoches, Texas and A.J. Humphrey of Grants Pass, Oregon; three sisters, Janie Luster of Grants Pass, Oregon, Sherry Humphrey of Victorville, California and Marion Hicks of Arizona; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Harriette Humphrey, Patricia Partridge, and Joanie Partridge; and a nephew, Steven Luster.
