Albert David "Al" Paddock

Albert David “Al” Paddock, age 68, of Grants Pass, died Thursday, August 22, 2012 at Three Rivers Community Hospital.

Private services are planned. Private interment was held at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Al was born September 8, 1943 in Grants Pass, Oregon to John Phillip Paddock & Jessie Ellen Paddock and lived here all his life. He delivered newspapers for The Journal and The Oregonian and was employed by Colvin Oil Company for 17 years before retiring in 1999.

He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his companion, Mary E. Strate; a son, John “JD” Paddock; four stepchildren, Richard Taylor, Barbara Baker, Robert Taylor and C.B. Brown all of Grants Pass, Oregon; a sister, Lucy Mae Ashley of Salem, Oregon; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
