Virginia Roe Vest

Virginia Roe Vest, age 100, of Grants Pass, died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Spring Village Assisted Living Center.

A memorial service will be at 11:00, Monday, April 27, 2009 at Parkway Christian Center with Pastor Ron Marsh officiating. Private interment will be at Klamath Memorial Park. Hull & Hull Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.

Virginia was born April 7, 1909 in Franklin Grove, Illinois. She married Glen Vest in December of 1932. The family moved to Grants Pass in October of 1952.

Survivors include three daughters and three sons, Mary Hinsley of Crestline, California; Dorthy Vest of Cottonwood, Arizona, Glenore Keys of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, Mr. and Mrs Glen Vest, Jr. of Grants Pass, Mr. and Mrs. John Vest of Redmond, Oregon and Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Vest of Grants Pass; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Glen, who died in 1967 and her youngest son, Robert Lee Vest.
